Kuala Lumpur (called KL by locals) is the federal capital and Malaysia’s biggest and most exciting city. New Years Eve 2018 in Kuala Lumpur is sure to be spectacular. Kuala Lumpur may be a bit limited with natural attractions but when it comes to nightlife venues, shopping, dining and stunning modern architecture like the Petronas Twin Towers, it truly shines. The towers are KL’s landmark and were known as the world’s tallest buildings from 1998 to 2004. The towers feature a thrilling double decker sky bridge that connects them on the 41st and 42nd floors and even today is known as the tallest 2 story bridge in the world. The KLCC 17 acre park is below the towers and a great place to spend the early hours of New Years Eve. Visitors will also enjoy spending the daylight hours of New Years wandering about the city streets, shopping, people watching, dining on delicious cuisine, perhaps stopping for a refreshing drink in a local bar or cafe.
